A scarce Colt Single Action Army .45 Colt, produced in 2003 as one of only 25 commemorative revolvers honoring Charlton Heston's tenure as President of the National Rifle Association. This example is No. 7 of 25, serial number 007CH.

The revolver features a 4 3/4" round barrel, traditional blue and case-hardened finish, extensive gold inlay, and carved ivory grips. The left side of the barrel is inscribed “National Rifle Association” within a banner, while Charlton Heston's signature is rendered in gold along the backstrap. His term as NRA president is also commemorated in gold on the butt.

The set is accompanied by a leather-bound Bill of Rights book and silver dummy cartridges, adding to the presentation and commemorative nature of the ensemble.

The revolver remains in new condition, presenting as an exceptional example of this extremely limited Colt commemorative issue.
