CASULL ARMS CORPORATION CA 2000 DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER 22 LR WITH BOOK CASE

Casull Arms Corporation CA 2000 Double Action Revolver .22 LR | Book Case

An unusual Casull Arms Corporation CA 2000 .22 LR double-action revolver, a distinctive compact design featuring a folding trigger and accompanied by its original-style book presentation case.

The revolver is fitted with a 1 3/4" barrel, stainless finish, and Micarta grips. Its folding trigger allows for an exceptionally compact profile and is one of the defining features of the CA 2000 design.

The gun remains in very good overall condition, showing some light handling to the finish. The bore is bright and shiny with crisp rifling.

Of particular interest is the accompanying book-style case, an important part of the presentation of these uncommon revolvers. The case exterior remains in excellent condition; however, the interior foam lining is deteriorating and disintegrating with age.

The CA 2000 is a decidedly unconventional American rimfire revolver, and examples are encountered far less frequently than mainstream production .22s. With its stainless construction, folding trigger, Micarta grips, and book case, this is an interesting package for the collector of unusual American handguns and Casull firearms.
