C. MODE PARIS SIDELOCK EJECTOR 12 GAUGE

A refined French sporting gun, this C. Mode Paris sidelock ejector reflects the Parisian tradition of elegant gunmaking paired with practical field design. Makers of this school are known for their attention to balance, clean mechanical execution, and subtle stylistic restraint, producing guns intended to shoot well first and foremost.

This example is fitted with 29 5/8" solid rib barrels with 2¾" chambers and measured choke constrictions of .016 and .034 (IC/Modified), offering versatility for driven birds and longer crossing shots. The gun is configured with double triggers, including an articulated front trigger, automatic ejectors, and side clips, along with a splinter forearm and English grip. A recoil pad has been fitted, and the gun is accompanied by its case, enhancing both protection and presentation.

Weighing 6 lbs 12 oz, the gun balances smoothly between the hands and mounts with authority. Stock dimensions measure 13 7/8" length of pull, 1 7/8" drop at heel, and 1 3/8" drop at comb, providing comfortable, modern field proportions.

Condition is very good, showing some very light handling marks consistent with careful storage and normal use. The gun presents as well cared for, mechanically sound, and ready for continued sporting use.
