BROWNING SUPERLIGHT SUPERPOSED ANGELO BEE MIDAS GRADE UPGRADE 28 GAUGE

A highly desirable small-bore Superposed elevated to another level — Browning Superlight Superposed, Angelo Bee Midas Grade Upgrade, 28 Gauge, double signed by Angelo Bee.

Originally manufactured in 1969, this rounded-frame Superlight was subsequently upgraded and engraved by Angelo Bee, one of the most respected post-war Belgian Browning engravers. The gun is double signed, a detail advanced collectors actively seek, and the execution reflects true Midas-level coverage and refinement.

The 26 1/2" vent rib barrels are choked Improved Cylinder and Modified (.006 / .009) with 2 3/4" chambers — an exceptionally practical upland pairing in 28 gauge. The Superlight configuration keeps the gun trim at 6 lbs 5 oz, and the rounded frame combined with the early-style field forearm and straight English grip gives it elegant, almost bespoke handling characteristics.

It retains its Browning butt plate and measures 2 1/8" drop at heel, 1 1/2" drop at comb, and 14 1/8" length of pull, proportions that keep the gun lively without feeling nervous in the hands.

Condition remains excellent since the upgrade, with only the lightest evidence of careful storage to wood and metal finishes.

A refined, collector-grade 28 bore Superposed — factory Belgian craftsmanship enhanced by Angelo Bee’s engraving at the Midas level. An exceptional example for the Browning specialist or serious small-bore enthusiast.
