A modern execution of one of the most elegant rimfire designs ever produced, this Browning SA-22 Grade 1 Takedown combines John M. Browning’s timeless engineering with Miroku’s renowned Japanese craftsmanship. Built in 2009, this rifle retains all the charm and refinement that have defined the SA-22 for more than a century.
Featuring a 19⅜" barrel and the distinctive bottom-ejecting, 10-shot tubular magazine design, the rifle remains ambidextrous, smooth, and exceptionally reliable. It is fitted with a Bushnell Banner Wide Angle 1.5–4.5x scope mounted on a Browning base, providing a practical and period-appropriate optic solution while preserving the rifle’s clean lines.
Finished with a steel buttplate and offered with the factory Browning takedown case, this example is both complete and correct. Condition is excellent, showing only the slightest handling marks to the wood and metal—consistent with careful ownership rather than use.
Weighing just 5 lbs 4 oz without the scope and 6 lbs 4 oz with it mounted, with a 13¾" LOP, this SA-22 handles lightly and balances beautifully.
A refined, compact, and highly collectible Browning SA-22 Takedown—equally appealing to the rimfire enthusiast, collector, or anyone who appreciates classic design executed to a very high modern standard.
