BARTH O/U COMBINATION GUN 16 GAUGE & 25-35 (6.5X52R)

A classic German over/under combination gun, this Barth pairs a shotgun barrel with a rifle barrel in the traditional continental stalking format—built for versatility, precision, and practical hunting use. Elegant yet purposeful, it reflects the ingenuity that made combination guns so popular across Central Europe.

The gun features 26" solid rib barrels with a rear flip-up sight, the 16-gauge shotgun barrel choked .037 with 2½" chambers, and a 25-35 (6.5x52R) rifle barrel—an effective, mild-recoiling cartridge well suited for roe deer, boar, and similar game. Optics are handled by a claw-mounted Zeiss Diatal-Z 4x32, offering a period-correct, repeatable scope solution that maintains zero when removed.

Configured with double triggers, extractors, a field-style forearm, pistol grip, and cheekpiece, the gun balances utility with classic lines. Practical hunting features include sling swivels, a recoil pad, and a spring-loaded trap door in the stock housing a cartridge holder—a thoughtful detail often seen on high-quality German arms.

A distinctive and highly functional Barth combination gun, ideal for the hunter or collector who appreciates Old World design, multi-purpose capability, and traditional European craftsmanship.
