AUSTRIAN SIDELOCK O/U COMBINATION GUN 12GA / 7X65R

A well-appointed Continental hunting gun, this Austrian sidelock over/under combination gun in 12 Gauge / 7×65R, proofed in 1987, offers a practical rifle-shotgun pairing with high-grade finish and desirable features.

The gun is built on a sidelock O/U action and fitted with 25⅝" Böhler Rasant steel barrels, incorporating a ramped front sight and flip-up rear sight for the rifle barrel. It is equipped with a claw-mounted Zeiss Diavari-Z 1.5–6×42 T* scope, providing a versatile sighting system suitable for driven game and distance work alike. Additional features include ejectors, a double set trigger, tang safety, fish-scale checkered field forearm, raised cheekpiece, and sling swivels. The gun is engraved with gold inlay, adding visual distinction without overwhelming the piece.

Condition is excellent, showing only the lightest handling to wood and metal from careful storage and limited use. The gun weighs 8 lbs 12 oz and measures 14" LOP, presenting as a solid, well-balanced combination gun rather than an overly light novelty.

A desirable Austrian combination gun with quality barrels, first-rate optics, and attractive finish—well suited for the collector or hunter seeking a refined all-around European sporting arm.
