A.H. Fox KE Grade Single Barrel Trap 12 Gauge | Made 1931

A desirable A.H. Fox KE Grade Single Barrel Trap, manufactured in 1931 and representing one of the higher-grade target guns produced during the classic era of American trapshooting.

The gun is fitted with a 32" vent rib barrel choked Full (.047 constriction) with a 2 1/2" chamber, a configuration intended for serious trap competition and long-yardage targets.

Features include a single trigger, ejector, beavertail forearm, and recoil pad, providing the handling characteristics expected from a dedicated target gun of the period.

The gun remains in very good to excellent condition with light handling to wood and metal finishes from storage and careful use. It presents as a well-preserved example that has been maintained without losing its character.

Weight is 7 lbs. 12 oz., with stock dimensions of 2 3/8" DAH, 1 9/16" DAC, and 14 3/4" LOP.

During the interwar years, Fox trap guns earned a reputation for durability, handling, and quality workmanship, and the KE Grade represented a level of finish above standard production. Surviving examples continue to attract collectors of vintage American target guns and enthusiasts of classic trapshooting equipment.

A scarce and well-preserved Fox trap gun from the golden age of American competition shooting.
