A fine example of Philadelphia-era Fox craftsmanship, this A.H. Fox CE Grade 12 Gauge, serialed in the 31,4xx range, reflects the refined balance and understated elegance that define the higher Fox grades from this period.
The gun is fitted with 28" solid rib barrels choked Modified and Full (.013/.025) with 2½" chambers, a classic and versatile configuration for upland or traditional field shooting. Features include double triggers, ejectors, a splinter forearm, pistol grip stock, and the correct butt plate, all contributing to the clean, purposeful lines Fox is celebrated for.
Condition is very good to excellent original, showing only very light handling consistent with careful storage and limited use. Wood and metal remain honest and well preserved, with no effort made to overstate condition. The gun weighs 7 lbs 2 oz and measures 3⅜" DAH, 1 13/16" DAC, and a 14 3/16" LOP, offering steady balance and classic Fox handling.
