A beautifully preserved example of a classic Philadelphia small-bore, this A.H. Fox AE Grade 20 Gauge from 1922 shows the elegance, balance, and crisp mechanics that have long defined the best early Fox guns. With 28" solid rib barrels choked Mod and Full (.021 and .034) and set on 2½" chambers, it carries the lively, responsive feel that makes the 20-gauge Fox such a standout in the uplands.

Features include double triggers, ejectors, a splinter forearm, pistol grip, and a period-appropriate leather-faced recoil pad, all supporting the gun’s classic lines. Most importantly, the gun remains in excellent original condition, showing only the lightest handling to wood and metal—a rarity for a small-bore worked afield for over a century.

Weighing an ideal 6 lbs 0 oz, with dimensions of 3¼" DAH, 1 13/16" DAC, and 14½" LOP, this is an honest, high-condition Philly Fox with all the desirable attributes collectors and hunters search for.
