KOLAR - MAX TRAP TA 12 GAUGE

9,950.00

SBFG 20461

Kolar Arms, Inc., Racine, Wisconsin, USA, built this “Max Sporting” model with fully adjustable rib and comb, with its 32” over and under barrels including a full set of Kolar AAA sub gauge tubes and a full array of Kolar chokes. With this gun, you have the latest in the state-of-the-art for every sporting clays game.

Features include Kolar’s now famous nickel receiver and Kolar’s #2 stock with fully adjustable Monte Carlo comb with beautiful upgraded Turkish walnut wood.

The Kolar action uses the locking system that mounts the barrels low in the action on stub pins and locks with two small conical locking bolts on each side of the receiver. This combines the best engineering of Perazzi and Beretta in one best-made gun. It also features a removable trigger group, automatic ejectors, single selective trigger, and manual safety. The underside is engraved with the Kolar name and the crowned lion logo and shows sidewall border engraving with two small fleur de lis. The top lever is checkered on the left side for the right handed shooter. This is serial number K03556.

The blued, glare-free, 32” barrels, with .750 bores, are 12 gauge, 2 ¾” chambers with free floating adjustable tramline flat tapered hand-filed ventilated rib with center bead and adjustable front fiber bead. Both barrels have Kolar’s proprietary porting arrangement. The right barrel is inscribed, “Kolar Arms Inc, Racine, Wisc, USA,” and the right side is inscribed, “12 Ga 2 ¾” chamber, use factory loaded target ammunition only.”

The upgraded stock comprise two pieces of Turkish walnut with outstanding figure of dark streaks and some marble-caking on both the pistol grip stock and the beaver tail forearm. The checkering is masterfully cut at 28 lpi with four ribbons, two running through the free-formed pistol grip pattern and two through the free-formed pattern on the nicely rounded forearm. The release is a traditional Anson & Deeley type without engraving, inlaid and finished in the same French Gray look of the receiver. Dimensions are 14 ¾” x 1 5/8” x 1 5/8” x 2 ¾” with ¼ cast at the heel and 5/8 cast at the toe, measuring from the adjustable Kick-Eez USA-Trap team pad.
